NEW! Future Farmers: Every Sunday, 10 am

During our Days in the Dirt, Ekar Farm’s Lead Educator will provide 30 minutes of FREE fun, family farm projects starting at 10 am for kids ages 4-10! Each week we will explore farm themes like worms, bees, seeds, and more with hands-on, kid-friendly learning activities. Stay updated on the weekly themes by checking our updated schedule below:

Sunday, July 9 – Roots! Dig into the soil to discover the wonders of worms, compost, and how roots of plants depend on dirt.

Sunday, July 16 – Stems & Leaves! Explore how stems and leaves take in water and sun to help plants grow.

Sunday, July 23  – Flowers & Bees! Go beyond the beauty of flowers and honey by learning how pollination grows the foods we love.

Sunday, July 30 – Fruits & Seeds! Connect to the life cycle of plants by dissecting seeds and the fruits they came from.
